Hi English teachers,
may I ask if my following sentence is acceptable? Many thanks in advance.
I immerse myself in studies when I am single.

The sentence is fine--but awkward. A native speaker might be more like to write: "I immerse myself in
my studies
because i am single."
I hope you are doing well in your studies.
@Loh Jane,
Or perhaps, "I'm immersed in study when I'm alone."
