Hi All,
today i made a mistake. while having a conversation with my mgr i mentioned his community.i know it hurts.But i really didn't intend to do so.it was a slip of tongue.now i wanted to tell him that i really feel bad for it.can someone help me to communicate it in the best way?

I apologize about mentioning ....... yesterday. It was insensitive of me and I am sorry I brought it up.

BTW - what does "community" mean? His family?

What, like British...or Frenchist? Germanian possibly?

If he's British and you've offended him, don't worry about apologising, as he will come round and apologize to you within a few days, whether he needs to or not.
