today i made a mistake. while having a conversation with my mgr i mentioned his community.i know it hurts.But i really didn't intend to do so.it was a slip of tongue.now i wanted to tell him that i really feel bad for it.can someone help me to communicate it in the best way?

no i did mean that way...but when i mentioned it he called me as a racist.
