What is the tap called that gives out hot and cold water? Mixed tap?
What is the tap called that gives out water by sensing movements in front of it? Sensor tap?
first one is usually just a tap (or more commonly wherever I've lived in the States, a faucet )(the stuff that you drink from it is usually called "tap water", though, not "faucet water". I don't know thqt there is a particular term to refer to one with a sensor, so "sensor ap" or "sensor faucet" is probably as good as anything else to call it.. Depending on how the sink is set up, you can have separate faucets for hot and cold, or one faucet (more common today) that give you both, but I've never heard it called a "mixed tap" or more probably, if there were a term for it, a "mixing tap" or 'mixing faucet'. Just plain faucet.
@WBYeats,
mixer tap (Americans call it a faucet)
sensor tap (or tap with sensor)
