@Leadfoot,
Well, we recall. Rev Wilberforce, on his way to on of the Huxley shows, did suffer an accident when he was launched off his horse and hit his head upon a rock thus killing him.
Mr Huxley did not have anything nice to say about the rev after hearing about the incident.
Noone has ever claimed "purity of essence" when a good debate may break out. SO Im not surprised at how uncivil the whole history of the discovery associated with Darwin's theory has become.
Until the mid 1950;s various churches had better similies to deliver about "evolution" . Often, It was an "evil undertaking" , . So what the hell? Until the end of the various Butler Acts inthe Southern US states and the religious control exercised by the various Christian sects, evolution was often not allowed to be taught in schools.
History is usually loaded with comedy on all sides, but it usually works out.
So you think your Bible quote was based upon some cabalistic knowledge of epigentics?? Interesting take but wholly insufficient evidence to even consider as a hypothesis. Im not sure that "iniquity" corresponds to anything biological. (Unless this god was against smoking nd drinking and was able to write it all down)
