@McGentrix,
I went back and read Gunga's post and it doesn't really mean a lot. I get the point that the author is making in that mutations need o appear in both parents and locality and sex and all, but if you step back and look at the big picture that happened ages ago. Man has been pretty stagnant for awhile and I blame both intelligence and technology for it.

intelligent? yrvhnology? why?
btw technology is NOT because of modern science. Far far from it.

@izzythepush,
The only real thing in existance is tao. Tao is split to make the opposite s of yin and yang but tao remains as its self the relativity in the yin n yang arangments. This means relativity is the only real thing in the yin n yang illusion construct. Consciousness is pure relativity or tao. Tao is the god that constructed dna with an anticlockwise helix. Anti clockwise is yin or female.

@martinies,
Can you see evolution fits well with tao philosophy and christianity in its true form is taoism.

Well, you are begging the question... why is technology NOT because of modern science? From what I have seen, it is usually as a DIRECT result of modern science.

@McGentrix,
McG...Izzy...

...it just reminded me of a picture of Mercury transiting the sun.

Here is one that I found on Google...and it does look sorta like it:

@martinies,
The relativity in buddhist texts which can lead a studier to nirvana is the nirvana in the texts of buddhism which lead the studier to nirvana.

Studier is not a word in English. We commonly employ student.

You need to lay off the drugs, you're making even less sense than usual, and that's quite an accomplishment.

@Setanta,
..but that's because it's a non-local event, right?

@Ragman,
You got it in one ragman. The relativity in anything local is nonlocal and that includes the truth about nirvana in buddhist texts. Relativity is nirvana.

Just show me one thing that is, allegedly, because of 'modern science' and I am pretty sure I can show it isn't.

Or let me put it in aother way, how do you know for certain that technology is from 'modern science'?

anyway, I can assure you it isn't.

I will await your reply.

@Ragman,
You should be ashamed of yourself for encouraging him. I know you're just doing it in a blatant case of self-amuse.

@Setanta,
Setanta.. God (nonlocality) created relative difference (locality) and still is creating and changing things by relative difference including dna. That is plain to see.

This is legit. I once went to a Dark Side of the Moon laser light show and saw God.

No, they were invented wayway way way before 'modern science'!
AND NOT by academians, mind you. They are too stupid!

Anyway

Quote:
THE MICROWAVE OVEN WAS INVENTED BY ACCIDENT BY A MAN WHO WAS ORPHANED AND NEVER FINISHED GRAMMAR SCHOOL

(..)he began learning what he could about it and managed to become one of three people who were hired to install electricity in the plant, despite having never received any formal training in electrical engineering nor even finishing grammar school.(..)

Quote:
The company Spencer was working for, Raytheon, then filed a patent on October 8, 1945 for a microwave cooking oven, eventually named the Radarange.

You see, no stupid academic in sight!

And so it is with ALL technology including the transistor and computer.
