The most expensive house in the world has just changed hands for a mere £70 million pounds thats about $135 million dollars U.S. it's in West Kensington London. It has 12 bedrooms.
If this is not proof that the capitalist system is out of all control, then what proof do you need? The most expensive house among "so called" celebrities in L.A. is around $20 million. The mind f8888888g boggles.
I think Bill Gates has the most expensive house on earth, it took 5 years to build that thing. But your 20 million number is way low. Oceanside homes in Florida routinely sell for more than that
So how many sell for 135 million dollars?

a cardboard box might be considered pretty 'expensive', in mid winter, when none are available...........
On one of those "how the stinking rich live" programmes it showed the house that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore used to live in, I think it was in Malibu, it's difficult to imagine anyone having a more luxurious place than that, and that was 8 million dollars.
Cant imagine what you would get for the other 127 million.
