@Herald,
Read your own thread and try to use a brain cell or two for memory this time. If you'd been intellectually honest from the beginning, you wouldn't have so many posts to search through. If you're not reclaiming your teleporting alien/ILF/god-of-the-gaps story, then it's a moot point. If you're reinstating your claim, support it with evidence this time.

     You are simply a seedy, cheap and hedge liar. Name the number of the post ... in which you enumerate and specify the Gaps in a list?

Quote:
I. Argumentum ad Ignorantiam: (appeal to ignorance) the fallacy that a proposition is true simply on the basis that it has not been proved false or that it is false simply because it has not been proved true. This error in reasoning is often expressed with influential rhetoric.
A. The informal structure has two basic patterns:
Statement p is unproved.
Not-p is true.

Statement not-p is unproved.
p is true.

B. If one argues that God or telepathy, ghosts, or UFO's do not exist because their existence has not been proven beyond a shadow of doubt, then this fallacy occurs.
C. On the other hand, if one argues that God, telepathy, and so on do exist because their non-existence has not been proved, then one argues fallaciously as well.
...

IV. Non-fallacious uses of the ad ignorantiam: in science, the law courts, and some specific other situations, one must, for practical reasons, assume that something is false unless it is proved true and vice-versa. ...

Name-calling fallacy. Look it up yourself. It's a moot point unless you're starting to argue for your teleporting 45%/30%/"perhaps" 25% this, that or the other, invisible alien/ILF/god-thingy-of-the-gaps again. If so, the only relevant point is your lack of evidence for it.

@FBM,
This thread is not about logical and non-logical fallacies.

When you fill it up with them, it becomes so.

What happened with the Gaps?

@Herald,
You stopped defending your alien/ILF/god-thingy, so the gaps you imagined became irrelevent.

     What imagination - the Gaps are your top design development. Read the thread.
     Besides that you are absolutely incompetent to be on this thread at all.

     Speaking about uncertainty I start doubting that you have any competence in phenomenology as well.
     If you are such a great brain as you are presenting yourself to be, you should be able to specify the phenomena (the Gaps in science that you misrepresent as incompleteness), and should have no problems in describing & classifying the Gaps ... and you are absolutely helpless to do anything of the kind, as it was already seen.

If you can't be relevant, at least try to be interesting. Maybe try posting some more wingnutty **** about ID or something.

     Perhaps I have no desire to discuss that theme with retard and aggressive people.

Good. I wouldn't be aggressive if you'd be intellectually honest in the first place.

     You are aggressive because you are not at a level to discuss anything seriously on the theme, but are scratching to publish something. Do you have to say something in particular on the theme - how do you distinguish, for example, whether something is random or deterministic?

@Herald,
I don't. I suspend judgment. If I don't know something, I don't claim to.

     What about the Gaps - you claim them for over 200 pages and cannot even enumerate them?

@Herald,
I've show you all you need to know to figure it out. That is, if you're of average intelligence. Are you going to defend the alien/ILF/god-thingy-of-the-gaps again? If not, it's a moot point. You're a sore loser. Grow up and get over it.

     So and so you are thinking that you are above-the-average intelligence ... and deny the Intelligence in the Universe, what can you say about Time? What exactly is Time (if it exists in the physical reality outside our conscience): is it isochronic, isomorphous, isotropic, and invariant in terms of mass? Will a Caesium clock on the Earth and a Caesium clock on an asteroid, for example, show some difference in measuring the time?

@Herald,
What does this basic question about relativity have to do with your alien/ILF/god-thingy-of-the-gaps claim? Are you reviving that claim? Looking for yet another gap to wedge your invisible entity into? Wink Keep trying; this is fun. Ducks in a barrel...
