before you read... i dont know why this would be on the back page, but bear with me...
... that there had been 3 people found dead, in a town (near surrey). Nobody appeared to have any damage done to them, but they all had looks of suprise/ terror on their faces. Two of the people found dead were a couple, and the other, was a person yet to be identified.
So he was here, harry thought. Lord Voldemort was looking for him. what should he do? sending hedwig wouldn't be smart; she could easily be intercepted. well, at least he was safe here, from voldemort anyways.
wouldn't dumbledore notice? wouldn't dumbledore frealize harry was in trouble? Where was dumbledore at a time like this... he would have told him something by now, or at least made contact with him now knowing vodemort was around. What if something happened to him? what could harry do?
By now, harry had a headache. This was all so frusterating, and why hadn't ron invited him to the burrow? it was early yet, but he dreaded the days to live yet at the dursleys... BANG!

Anyone else in the path of Hurricane Ivan?
I would like (but I don't need) events that you read in the Harry Potter books that happened between 1840 and 1945. You know how in like random parts of the book they will refer to something like the "1840 Werewolf Restrictions Agreement" (that was made up). It can be from Fantastic Beasts or Quidditch Through the Ages too. I'm rereading the series to find this stuff (no other good books in school library, and I don't feel like bringing a book from home), but I might miss some.
Well, I'm in the very direct path of Ivan, which is a category 4 hurricane. It is supposed to hit us late tonight, early morning. When Frederick came through in 1979, it was a category 3. There was no water for a few days, and the power was out for a couple weeks.
Ivan is supposed to be a lot worse than Frederick. There is no telling how much longer we will have power or when we will get it back. So, I'll be online in between packing, but it will probably be a while before I can get online again.
Hopefully, I'll see you guys on the other side.....

I didn't go to school today because my Grandma died last night of a heart attack. She was staying at our house, so when we heard the crash, we knew it was bad. I was at the hospital until about 2:30am, and I didn't catch any sleep until 4:00am and then I had to wake up at 6:35am to help my mom prepare for all of our family members coming over.
It sucks that all this tragedy is going on, but I guess that's life, eh?
I'm not in the path of Hurricane Ivan, but it feels like it. My town is just getting slammed by a huge storm. I had to walk 1/3 of the way home (short day today, so no football practice immediately) before another football player and his girlfriend gave me a ride home.
At least the dense fog is going away now...
