It was by, I believe, 13 percentage points. That's a good win.

Excellent win!

I hope he proves to be a reasonable legislator from our state. He seems like a "with it" kind of person...and I have hopes that he will not get bogged down in that nonsense now clogging up the arteries of government.

I agree. Need to replace the tea party with these kind of people.

I only hope he doesn't disappoint, Frank. We've had way too many of that type recently.

I must admit I had to look him up. One thing I thought quite appropriate, was the names of the towns where respective candidates were or had been mayors. Newark is also a town in Nottinghamshire England, and it the county most associated with Robin Hood. Booker's opponent Steve Lonegan is former mayor of Bogota. There's also a Bogota in Columbia and it's closely associated with criminal drug gangs

You've also got a town named Boston.

Here's a picture of me with the Lord Mayor of Boston...quite a few years ago:

@Frank Apisa,
Strangely enough, if someone asked me to point to the American in that photo, I'd choose the mayor.

And being "with it" is so important!

Nevermind that the oral history of Corey Booker has holes in it through which a truck might drive.

Nevermind that he has enriched himself personally by virtue of his position as mayor.

Nevermind that Newark is no better a place to live in since his election as mayor.

Nevermind...Becuase he is a Black Progressive and therefore must be all right by Frank and his fellow Progressives.

Another charlatan is entering the federal government.

OK, your response was idiotic and can't be intellectually responded to in any other way.
