I'll bet you never heard of Willie Reed or Willie Louis. I know I never had. But back in 1955 he did an incredibly brave thing for a black man in the American South of the time. He testified in the trial of two white men accused of lyching Emmett Till (of whom, I'm sure, you
have heard).
