@mysteryman,
"If I sat around and did nothing, I could be charged."

Why all the mystery, Mysteryman? Why didn't you just come out and say it?

@Foofie,

Now, would the German "duty to resue" law include the Allied bombing of Germany in WWII, since one can say that the Allies were trying to save Germany from Nazism? Perhaps, even the fire bombing of Dresden falls under the duty to rescue laws? Or, would "no ex post facto" be applied?
I don't know, where the law of the Nazi period are still read at universities. I wasn't taught about those and I have no idea, how it worked then ... and how it would be decided NOW about what someone did or didn't do in these days.

I'm sure, however, that there are some specialists knowing such.
Search and ask them!

Speaking of rescue hoaxes have anyone seen verification of Trayvon at the age of nine years saving his father from a fire?

Strange that with Zimmerman it was a hoax even with the police on the scene but Trayvon rescuing his father story had not been question or as far as I could find verify.

@BillRM,
He did rescue his father when he was 9--he dragged his father out of the house. His father had accidently started a fire in the kitchen while cooking, and he was quite badly burned, particularly on his legs, and he required a lengthy period of hospitalization.

Why would you think this story should be questioned?
