I just hate the tension that comes when your side has launched a major operation against the enemy and all you can do is sit there and wait for reports to come in.

Maybe the years of work your side put into the operation will all be for naught. Maybe, despite all the meticulous preparation and flawless execution, someone somewhere made a simple but fatal mistake that has doomed the entire effort.

Maybe no one made any mistakes, but the enemy's defenses will be strong enough to repel your attack anyway.

Or maybe a devastating blow is about to be landed upon the enemy -- one which they will never recover from.

But all you can do is sit there and stare at the clock ticking away, waiting for the first reports to come in.

Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick........

Sigh. Neutral

We have been defeated. Sad

Oh well. We shall regroup and try again.
