Shots fired at REI in San Francisco

Reports that suspect opened fire on two groups of police officers while trying to run away. Reports are that suspect surrendered. Oddly, same reporter says he is being relocated by police who say scene is unsafe - and reporter says bomb squad has arrived. Reporters say there are two fatalities, and shooting took place in a jewelry store next to REI.

So, looks like theft now rather than street shooting sound of initial reports. Still, nothing conclusive.
