Given Trayvon's history of using extremely deranged drugs, his history of burglary, his carrying of ingredients to mix with his extremely deranged drugs, and his casing of houses, it is quite possible that Mr. Zimmerman's actions prevented Trayvon from massacring multiple families that night.

You better go back on your meds, oralloy. You've lost all touch with reality. I think you've entered ...

I imagine that in similar circumstances (discerning a burglary suspect)
Zimmy 'd do the same thing (call the police n follow the suspect) again, to defend his nabors' property.

George Zimmerman
Will Continue To Pay Wife
From Legal Defense Fund

George Zimmerman will continue to pay his estranged wife's living expenses from his legal defense fund, and he may even use money from the fund to pay her alimony if it comes to that ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Shellie Zimmerman received $4,300 after the couple separated for living expenses, and the money came from the George Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund. Solicitations for the fund stated that money could be used for their living expenses, but that's when they were still together.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ ... Shellie is not a gold digger and only wants necessary expenses. We're told George will continue to pay her way from his fund, but the monthly amount will vary and every penny will be backed up with a receipt.

Now this is interesting. If George is ordered to pay Shellie alimony when they divorce, he is leaving open the possibility that he could pay that through his legal defense fund.

So we gotta ask ...

Shellie Zimmerman, George Zimmerman's Wife, Seeks Life Insurance Policy
ASSOCIATED PRESS
By MIKE SCHNEIDER
09/07/2013

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) -- George Zimmerman's wife is asking that he pay for a permanent life insurance policy with her named as the beneficiary, according to a divorce petition made public Friday.

Shellie Zimmerman said in the petition that her husband should pay the premiums on the policy since he "has the financial ability to obtain such life insurance at reasonable rates." She also asked for custody of the couple's 2-year-old Rottweiler, Oso, and 8-year-old Leroy, a mixed-breed dog. They have no children.

Shellie Zimmerman, 26, is seeking an equal distribution of their checking accounts, trusts, partnerships and any unknown assets, and asked that a judge prevent him from selling off any property. Among the unknown assets is any money George Zimmerman may get from a defamation lawsuit he has filed against NBC.

The couple, who have been married since November 2007, separated a month after Zimmerman was acquitted in July of any crime for fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February 2012. The Zimmermans aren't living together as husband and wife, said the petition, which suggested Shellie may seek legal fees from her husband for the divorce.

"The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," the petition said.

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" that aired Friday, Zimmerman said her husband left her with "a bunch of pieces of broken glass" after the acquittal.

She said he only stayed in their house three or four nights since the trial ended and that they even tried counseling. But she moved out Aug. 13.

"I have a selfish husband and I think George is all about George," she said.

Last week, Shellie Zimmerman pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying about the couple's finances during a bail hearing following her husband's arrest after Martin's shooting in Sanford, Fla.

George Zimmerman, 29, said he acted in self-defense when he killed Martin and the polarizing case opened up national discussions on self-defense laws and race. Martin was black. Zimmerman has a white father and Hispanic mother.

Shellie Zimmerman was sentenced to a year's probation and 100 hours of community service. Her husband did not attend the sentencing hearing in the Sanford courtroom.

"I stood by my husband through everything," she told ABC, "and I kind of feel like he left me with a bunch of pieces of broken glass that I'm supposed to now assemble and make a life."

Shellie Zimmerman says her husband was verbally abusive toward her and that he has been making what she considers "reckless decisions." She didn't specify what those decisions were. "In my opinion, he feels more invincible" since his acquittal, she added.

She said the timing seems right to begin a new life.

"I have supported him for so long and neglected myself for too long," Shellie Zimmerman said. "And I feel like I'm finally starting to feel empowered again."

Alabama State marching band spells 'Trayvon' during Saturday's halftime show
By Kelsey Stein
September 08, 2013

JACKSON, Mississippi - During halftime at Alabama State's Saturday night game against Jackson State, the ASU marching band took the field and spelled out the name "Trayvon."

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BTmUkpACYAAIpVI.jpg

Several people who attended the matchup between the two historically black universities tweeted photos of the commemoration of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager who was fatally shot last year by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

Southwestern Athletic Conference Commissioner Duer Sharp mentioned the tribute, along with others who expressed pride and respect for the band's tribute.

Despite an early two-touchdown lead, the Alabama State Hornets fell 30-23 to the Jackson State Tigers.

@BillRM,
I'm curious how Trayvon Martin who died in Feb could have failed a high school exit exam that is NOT administered until March and April under Florida law.

Did he fail it only because he failed to take it?

Sorry Frank but he was not showing that he was college material.

Trayvon died in Feb.

Quote:
In accordance with Section 1008.22, Florida Statutes, students will be administered FCAT 2.0 Writing no earlier than the week of March 1st and FCAT 2.0 Reading, Mathematics, and Science no earlier than the week of April 15th each school year. Statewide assessment schedules for the FCAT 2.0 are provided on the FCAT 2.0 website by August 1st one school year prior to testing.

Again, you don't seem to get facts correct Bill.

@parados,
It's interesting to see how much effort the likes of Bill tries to find every false lead to denigrate young Martin while they skip over all the facts available on Zimmerman's crimes.

From NewsOne.com.
Quote:
While the mainstream media made sure to report with exclamations and gasps that marijuana was found in Trayvon Martin‘s system on the night that he was killed, many outlets failed to also report that the level was well below what medical studies show cause “performance impairment.” The same can not be said for George Zimmerman. According to the paramedic report, the vigilante neighborhood watch captain was on the prescription drug Temazepam, reports MSNBC.com.

Quote:
Temazepam Side Effects
While most people have no problems when taking temazepam, side effects can occur. Common ones include drowsiness, dizziness, and hangover. Less common -- but more serious -- reactions include hallucinations, jaundice, and unexplained rashes or swelling. If you experience any of these potentially serious side effects, notify your healthcare provider right away.

LOL, A student in Florida are given four or five chances to passed this test starting in the tenth grade so a 17 years old first run in with this test would not likely to be when he was 17!!!!!!! Unless you are claiming he was so far behind his age group that he was still in the tenth grade!!!!!!!!!

He likely would have had a chance or two remaining to try to pass the FCAT.

However failing it a few times is not a good indicator that Trayvon was college material...........

He did hit some trouble in his teenage years. He skipped classes and got suspended a couple times. Tracy won't go into detail, says it was just regular teenage stuff, but Sybrina's caution is overridden by her disappointment. He didn't pass the FCAT, she says. The FCAT is Florida's big standardized test. If you don't pass, you don't graduate.

I know I didn't highlight "dizziness and drowsiness," but it's possible Zimmerman could have fallen on his own to injure his head.

Options after failing the FCAT[edit source | editbeta]

A student failing the tenth grade test—that is, the test required for graduation—is allowed approximately five additional opportunities to pass it prior to graduation. Originally, students were given four more chances to pass the test after failing it in 10th grade—in October and March of both their junior and senior years in high school. However, starting in 2006, students were provided an additional test administration during the summer between school years. Students, however, may not retake the Grade 10 FCAT during the summer between their sophomore and junior year because additional time is needed for remediation. If students do not pass the FCAT prior to their scheduled graduation, they may continue to retake it until they pass it to earn a standard high school diploma.

If a student completes the minimum number of credits for high school graduation, but does not pass the FCAT, he or she may still be allowed to graduate with a certificate of completion.

@BillRM,
You mean you are claiming Zimmerman didn't pass a test to graduate HS when he was a junior? OMG.. the kid must be stupid because 90% of juniors don't have to take their senior year because they graduate.

@BillRM,
The grade 10 test is NOT the test to graduate HS and get a diploma. It is the test to graduate from grade 10. Wow... you sure you were in the top 10% of the SATs?

Yes it is indeed the test to allow students to get their high school diplomas.

Quote:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_Comprehensive_Assessment_Test

In addition to the third grade requirement, public school students in Florida must also pass the tenth grade FCAT, not only in reading, but also in mathematics, in order to be eligible to receive a high school diploma.

footnote third graders need to pass a FCAT test to move to the fourth grade and the tenth grade FCAT need to be pass to get a diploma. Those are the only two important milestones in FCAT testings for students in Florida.

No I did not miss that part as a certificate of completion is not a high school diploma.

Not a piece of paper that will be treated as the same as a diploma by anyone including colleges.

You are being kind of pitiful in trying to defend Trayvon high school standings.
