For the mature manager of a pharmacy,who catches a man aged 80+ stealing a candy bar, the solution would be very easy. Take the man to a distant corner and say for nicely, if you're very hungry and you really need that candy bar, go ahead and take it, we'll chalk it up to loss, ...etc.

Has that got something to day with Seniors buying a loaf of bread, but since the 17 year old manager, wanted to be "important", he called the police to charge the Senior with atttempted of a candy bar.
