@Frank Apisa,

Bill, what happened is pretty clear...at least the beginning is. Zimmerman decided that Martin was acting suspicious (walking and talking on his telephone!)...and decided to "protect" humanity from this terrible threat.

Turn out that Zimmerman was more right then he could dream of when he begin to try to get the police to checked Trayvon by the actions of Trayvon himself in trying to be a murderer.

Quote:
I think that is because you want to kill someone. I think you want very, very much to kill someone...and for it to be "justifiable." Perhaps you even want your wife to kill someone...and for it to be "justifiable."

Oh? Unlike you I do not think that attacking someone for annoying me is right morally or legally.

Seems you are the one who is wishing to harm someone if they would dare to annoyed you.

Quote:
I imagine you imagining scenarios where you are "forced" to defend yourself...and shooting someone at close range. I imagine you imaging watching the person bleeding and dying in front of you...with a degree of satisfaction in finally having felt the thrill of killing a fellow human being...for cause, of course.

LOL and you are dreaming about pounding the **** out of some white racist as in your view poor Trayvon try to do the only problem is that so call white racist was armed and able to protected himself,

I do not know if the new black panther have an age limit cut off but you might look into joining them.

Quote:
Anyway...Trayvon Martin is dead. If he was going to become a productive member of society or a bum or criminal doesn't matter, because he is dead.

George Zimmerman is free.

Well the proven productive member of society is alive and the it is unlikely as hell to be a productive member is dead due to his own actions.

@Frank Apisa,
Quote:
Trayvon Martin is dead...at 17. He made the mistake of walking where George Zimmerman was "on patrol."

The reason he is dead is not where he walked or how he walked but that he attacked another human being and try to killed or do at least serous harm to him.

The worst that Zimmerman desire to happen to Trayvon was to have the police check him out.

in my mind, FAR FROM deadly .
Frank, will u be good enuf to reveal the extent of your education in neural, encephalic diagnosis??

No, I would not.

You guys are very sick people.

You have a right to your opinions...and I do not begrudge you that.

But whatever has happened in your lives to bring you to where you are...I wish it had not happened.

The world would be a much, much better place without the kind of thinking I see coming from you both.

Shellie Zimmerman went for a plea deal. But she now has a criminal record.

George Zimmerman's wife pleads guilty to perjury charge
By Vivian Kuo, CNN
Wed August 28, 2013

CNN) -- Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of George Zimmerman -- who was acquitted of second-degree murder in Trayvon Martin's death -- pleaded guilty Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge of perjury.

She will be placed on probation for one year, is required to perform 100 hours of community service, and must pay court costs. She also must file a letter of apology within 30 days to Judge Kenneth Lester, who presided over her husband's case at the time the perjury was committed.

Prosecutors said Shellie Zimmerman lied when she told Lester during an April 2012 bond hearing for her husband that the family was indigent. In fact, they argue, George Zimmerman actually had about $135,000 at the time.

Recorded jailhouse phone calls between the couple caught the two speaking in code about their finances.

By pleading guilty to a lesser charge of perjury not in an official proceeding, she avoided the original third-degree felony offense -- perjury during an official proceeding -- that could have meant time in prison.

I wonder how long the Zimmerman marriage will last...

George Zimmerman's wife pleads guilty to perjury
Yamiche Alcindor, USA TODAY
August 28, 2013

The wife of George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer acquitted in the killing of Trayvon Martin, has been sentenced to one year probation and 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge for lying at her husband's bond hearing.

Shellie Zimmerman, in court Wednesday, admitted that she perjured herself before Judge Kenneth Lester at an April 22, 2012, bond hearing for her husband. At that hearing, she told Lester, who was then presiding over her husband's case, that the couple had little funds.

But in a court filing, State Attorney Angela Corey said Shellie Zimmerman perjured herself by failing to reveal that George Zimmerman had collected more than $100,000 through Internet donations.

George Zimmerman instructed Shellie Zimmerman on how to transfer money from his bank account into hers and his sister's while he was in jail in April 2012, according to recordings of jail calls released by the Florida State Attorney's Office. According to an affidavit, Shellie Zimmerman transferred more than $74,000 to her personal account days before the April bond hearing. Nearly $50,000 was transferred to an account held by Zimmerman's sister.

Taped phone calls between the couple revealed that they had discussed the money transfers in code to hide the funds, according to the affidavit. Prosecutors allege that Zimmerman and his wife talked about $10, $20 and $100 to mask the fact that they were referring to thousands of dollars. The calls also showed that George Zimmerman instructed his wife to "pay off all the bills," including payments to American Express and Sam's Club.

Lester ruled on June 3, 2012, that Shellie Zimmerman had "testified untruthfully" about their finances. She was later arrested on June 12, 2012, and jailed briefly in Seminole County before posting a $1,000 bond.

George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012, in a gated townhouse community in Sanford, Fla., as the teen returned home from buying snacks at a convenience store.

Zimmerman said he shot the unarmed teenager in self-defense after being attacked. A jury last month found Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter.

Shellie Zimmerman had originally faced a third-degree felony perjury charge but the court accepted a plea deal. Wednesday, she pleaded guilty to "perjury not in official proceedings," which is a misdemeanor. She also filed in open court a letter of apology to Lester. A copy of the letter was not immediately available to USA TODAY.

Assistant State Attorney John Guy, one of the attorneys who argued before the court at George Zimmerman's trial, was back in court to handle Shellie Zimmerman's case.

As part of Shellie Zimmerman's one year of probation, she was given a list of conditions she must abide by.

In part, she cannot possess, carry or own a firearm and must get permission to own any other type of weapon. She also must get permission from her probation officer before moving, changing jobs or leaving the county where she lives.

She must also report regularly to a probation officer, pay $263 in court fees/fines and pay the state of Florida $50 per month as a cost of supervision while on probation.

Her probation can also be revoked if she violates the law, associates with anyone engaged in criminal activity or uses any drugs not prescribed by a doctor.

Well, at least Shellie won't be carrying a gun....

It's a shame they couldn't prosecute her lying husband for his role in this perjury and deceiving the judge.

George Zimmerman was not in court today to stand by his wife's side. When asked why he wasn't there, Shellie's lawyer said only, "That's an excellent question."

I don't give the Zimmerman marriage much longer...

When I heard that the State of Florida was going to spend more than $300,000 to pay for Zimmerman's attorney fees, I thanked God that I didn't live in Florida.

Imagine, paying for this guy's legal defense...

@Miller,
So far, the state hasn't agreed to what they will pay.

I don't think Zimmerman's court costs were anywhere near as high as Casey Anthony's--she was considered indigent, so the state picked up the tab.

@BillRM,
[quoteThe reason he is dead ][/quote]

The very real reason for his death is the "sterotyping" that's going wild for many Americans.
It sn't just Afro-Americans, or Hispanics who are the targets, what about Seniors who walk down the isles of large pharmacies, looking for a loaf of bread, and because their eye sight is so poor they walk and walk and walk until some 17 year old kid-manager (!) thinks the Senior is getting ready to steal something like a candy bar and as a result calls the police.

Most of the sterotyping and "spying" going on the US today is totally nuts!

The state was willing to paid for a political trial against a man who a large percents of the legal experts stated there was no case against. Oh it not the attorney fees it is other fees. His attorney fees added up to around 2 millions dollars and will not be paid for by the state.

Now that they need to paid also for some of the cost that Zimmerman needed to paid for seems more then justice to me.

The same outcome look likely in Zimmerman wife upcoming trial also.

The taxpayers also are likely to be on the hook for the civil suit that might be file against the prosecutor for calling Zimmerman a murderer after he was found innocent.

I've already posted that Shellie Zimmerman admitted to perjury, and she accepted a plea deal to a lesser perjury charge.

She is responsible for her own court costs and legal fees.

He was never "found innocent" of anything.

So many people still see him as a murderer, I doubt he'd collect anything if such a suit were filed--he couldn't prove there were damages to his reputation because his reputation is already so dubious.

And then he'd have to sue the juror who said he got away with murder.

Lots of people think he got away with murder...which makes him a murderer in the eyes of many. Corey has plenty of company in her opinion.

Sorry that is nonsense as the very worst that would had occur if Trayvon had not attacked Zimmerman that night is that the police would had ask him a few questions.

His death was the direct results of his own actions in attacking Zimmerman.

LOL that would amused me and in fact when I found that the rogaine box was protected by a magnetic strip I broke up laughing at the idea of old balding men such as myself shop lifting Rogaine and running out the door with them under their arms.

@RABEL222,
If David "is" an attorney, he's a pretty stupid one. He didn't even know what "double jeopardy" is (re: Zimmerman's trial).
