The big difference between the Tuskegee Airmen and Trayvon Martin is that Trayvon Martin was not allowed to grow up to become a man - and a contributing member of our society. He was not a thug. You are profiling. You're absolutely blind to the volunimous evidence that shows Zimmerman went in with a totally mistaken idea of what he was seeing and what Trayvon was in fact doing, and he killed Trayvon as a result of his preconceptions. Your mind has never been open, David. It is not now.

I find it very hard to believe that the left is trying to sell the foolishness
that travon did NOT deserve to be fatally shot,
when he was pounding Zimmy 's head against the cement.

If their roles had been reversed (white defender pounding black burglary suspect's head on the street),
then FOR SURE thay 'd be screaming that defensive shooting was justified.

I might have some problems in denying THAT allegation.
