My understanding it was fear of the nuts who are still issuing deaths threats to anyone connected to Zimmerman in a friendly way that cause them not to thank Zimmerman in public.

Love the government going after one nut who threaten to killed Nancy Grace with full stream but just overlooking all the deaths threats in Zimmerman direction.

Maybe that's because Zimmerman didn't "save" them.

Their SUV rolled over, while taking a curve, and no one in the vehicle was injured. All Zimmerman allegedly did was to help them exit the vehicle.

These people might not have wanted to be involved in making a big deal over nothing, just to help Zimmerman try to rehabilitate his "image". Maybe they didn't want to be exploited by Zimmerman and his lawyer. Maybe they didn't want to have to lie to turn this into some sort of dramatic "rescue" on Zimmerman's part.

Zimmerman obviously has no problems with lying, this family might...

Zimmerman's parents were not allowed in the courtroom because they were witnesses.

That does not apply to the victim's family in any murder case. Trayvon Martin, not George Zimmerman, was the victim in this case.

Weren't Trayvon's parents called to the stand to testify? If so that makes them witnesses as well.

Witnesses aren't supposed to watch the trial period--not in the courtroom, not on TV, and not on the internet.

Or are you saying that Zimmerman's parents are as dishonest as their son, and that they'd watch the trial anyway?

Huong said she has explored themes of racism, social justice and peace for 20 years, drawing on her background as a Vietnam War refugee.

“I have an opportunity to explain firsthand what racism means and what injustice means,” she said.

“The Foundation was started to try to redirect negative energy sadness into something positive,” said Sybrina Fulton, Martin’s mother.

For about 100 kids in Opa-locka, it was a chance to go back to school with the supplies they need

“I got a black backpack with a folder pencils and everything else I need for school,” said Clarence Hall.

Although many of the children are too young to understand what happened to Trayvon Martin, older students and their parents realized how much it meant for a mom and dad who lost their son to make sure other kids are ready for school.

“They have a really big heart even though something traumatic like this happened with their son they just want to give back so I’m really appreciative I’m very appreciative,” said Latanya Whittingham.

“I think it’s really nice of them to do that it’s also kind of sad but still it’s really generous of them to do that for the kids,” added Fiona Noguera, a student.

Martin’s parents hoped every book bag spreads a message of caring.

“One of the purposes is to give back to the community another thing is just to show the kids how important it is to us that our education is important," said Sybrina Fulton.

Now that the students have the supplies to succeed, the kids are ready to get back to class Monday morning.

I wonder if those who donated Mrs Martin 8 months of their vacation time have any second thoughts now that she is using that time to launch her new career as a foundation administrator.

No one in the Trayvon was murder camp give a **** of the pile of dead young black men killed as long as the killers are black themselves.

One killing by a non black person in legal self defense get far more attention and press then the thousands repeats thousands of killings a year that is happening every year in most major US cities of black young men and the locking up for those shootings of thousands of other young black men.

Let see in the last week in Miami we have an innocent black girl killed in a drive by shooting in her own home and three or four black men killed while in a car line at a fast food place but no one care due to as far as we now know the killings was by others blacks.

No Sharpton, no Jackson and no comments by Obama that the girl killed could had been his daughter.

I am feelings very good myself for sending a few hundreds dollars check to Zimmerman defense fund.

His lawyer did one hell of a job so both myself and Zimmerman got our money worth.

That's because the real issue in this case isn't just the death of another black child, it's racial profiling.

And some extremely dumb white guys, like you, just can't understand that.

Nor can they understand that calling this dead child "a walking piece of ****," and trying to assassinate his character, as you and others are doing in this thread, exposes the ugly racism in this country which this case has helped to reveal.

You're just too brain-dead, and entrenched in your own racist attitudes, for anything to penetrate. And your perverse delight in stomping on the grave of a dead child proves just what a piece of slime you are.
