Strangely enough, not everything Gunga says is ridiculous. In America and the UK the system is adversarial, not so on the continent where investigative magistrates are quite common.

Each system has its own merits.

I wonder what Oralboy would think, if he found out that his buddy Gunga was proposing America adopt an Italian style legal system?

A day might come when we are all experts at treating things and no longer immune from getting things which need treating.

I have wondered sometimes when Anna Botting might need to be sedated.

The Thatcher Foundation was set up to sedate Mrs T to help her handle the sudden loss of power. The main contributors are no doubt circling around the ashes as we speak.

So far even with the large debts load colleges for the most part still made sense and far more sense then sitting in a prison cell for those years.

The job of District Attorney in America seems to involve almost limitless power and very little resembling accountability; granted there is no shortage of good people who hold the job, the combination clearly attracts the wrong kinds of people as well and in the worst cases, the job has proved a natural magnet for psychopaths.

DA is often the first rung in the ladder of political careers and some of those careers are paved with the blood and shattered lives of innocents. Cases which are well known and easy to research on the internet include those of Janet Reno and her witch hunts (Grant Snoden, Bobby Fijnje, Frank Fuster, and a couple of others), Scott Harshbarger, Mike Nifong, Martha Cloakley who almost became a US senator from Massachusetts, Ronnie Earle who managed to convict Tom Delay of being a Republican, that lunatic sheriff of Wenatchee Wa. who almost succeeded in having Wenatchee disincorporated when it could no longer buy insurance, the prosecutors in that hideous David Camm case in Indiana... there doesn't seem to be any shortage of people who should not be holding that job.

The family that Zimmerman help rescue was going to speak to the press but become fearful of harm if they would dare to say anything good about Zimmerman.

Only in American can you made someone so hated that people who you help rescue become too fearful of publicly thanking him.

Love the news media power to demonized to this degree and on the other hand turn a trouble young man into a saint.

The lawyer said that when he spoke to the Gerstles "their voices were trembling" and that they feared saying anything positive about Zimmerman "would be toxic."

They want the right to carry guns so they can kill something. That's what self defense means to gun nuts. But give them their just due, they don't care whether its black or white just so they can kill it.

Odd my wife and I had been carrying guns around for well over twenty years and have not killed anyone for some strange reason and a million or so of my fellow citizens in Florida are carrying around firearms legally and it is very rare for any of them to be used to kill anyone and when they are used as is Zimmerman it is mainly a matter of self defense.

That number is roughly ten times the numbers of law enforcement personal in the state of Florida.

CC holders as a group are must more lawful then the rest of the population but facts are meaningless to people like you.

DA power did not used to be a big problem because they used to consider their most important duty to be defenders of justice. these guys used to only throw a punch when justice required it. now they often punch for personal profit and to scratch their sadistic itch.

Yes it is interesting to see what Firefly had been trying to do here acted out on a nationwide scale in a far more intense manner.

Control the debate by threatening to paint anyone who disagree with the brush of being a racist at best and if that does not work a few internet threats or even phone calls will do wonders with special note when the government seems not to be willing to act against those issuing the threats.

A kid make a distasteful comment/threat in the middle of an online game chat and even put LOL and such at the end of the line and find himself locked up for 8 months with a bail of 500,000.

People stating openly that they will find out the jury IDs and killed their kids and it is so what the hell.
