Does the richest nation also have the dumbest people?

Visit a Turnverein in germany and invariably some wiseacre will make a snide remark about;"how can the usa be the richest country on earth and at the same time have some of the dumbest people in the world for citizens. "
I usually ignore cracks from someone who has ingested too much brewski.
But the question does intrigue me.
We all hear how important the us constitution is and especially to the justices on the court . and while everyone is concerned about the first and second amendment violations and everyone has an opinion ,very little is said about the clearest violations to the core principles of the great and sacred document. And that deals with all the rules,regulations and federal laws pertaining to affirmative action .
The court has for almost 50 years chosen to remain silent ;and thereby allowing these gross violations to continue and to even gain strength.
How can the constitution guarantee freedom and color blind equality for all in the basic right of seeking and getting a job; and at the same time allow for racial preferences . ?
How can it allow a person of one color to be hired over another on the basis of race?,and especially if that person is far less qualified to begin with?
What this shows is that the supreme court is as corrupted and politicized as
any other part of government. If they can't understand the inherent injustices
involved then what the hell can they understand?
The right to find a job is not only a legal right, it's a human right and to promote someone or hire someone on the basis of skin color is a clear violation of man's laws , God's laws and equally the laws of nature that only respects the rights of the most qualified.
so while everyone is up in arms if they feel their 1st. and 2nd. amendment rights are violated they say nothing about the grossest in your face corruption of law ever designed by the demonic minds of the enemies of mankind.
so ,is america the richest and are its citizens some of the dumbest ? May be there's something to the snide remarks about Americans
