Hello, users, what is the most befitting form punctuation in the following sentence? --After meeting his foil character, our protagonist does not find the world for which he looked, but instead one of more significant beauty; not unlike Columbus dreaming of India, and finding our home instead.-- I Guessed a semicolon, but I could be wrong. Any help??

@ForeverForgotton,
It's okay Fore; although I'd omit both commas. The semi seems okay but I'd use a comma here or maybe even colon
