Someone wants to use my English sentences, and he thinks they are well written; is it idiomatic and grammatical to say?:
-These sentences are written by me, but I won't charge you a copyright fee.
I'm not sure whether native speakers call this act and thing 'charge you a copyright fee'.
What do you mean by "sentences"?
Is this a paper, a poem, article, what!!? People don't "use sentences."
BTW: Be sure he gives you credit for your work i.e. Source: John Smith
@PUNKEY,
Oh I didn't know...Thanks!
So the phrase 'I won't charge you a copyright fee' is OK?
