That's how they suck you in. That's how they sucked me in, and I've stayed. Good bang for my entertainment dollar, if you ask me.

heh, I didn't feel sucked in....I wanted to make sure we'd use it.....and we sure do!

I acutally don't look at it much, maybe every couple of weeks I'll watch a documentary. Well, I'll end up watch 2 in a row, or maybe a documentary then a movie. It's when I'm home and just too pooped to do anything.

Wally totally loves it.
He listens to Pandora all the time, and watches a lot of movies too. He likes to stay up late and do that.

The only regret is that we didn't switch over long ago, and save all that dough.

We haven't missed cable for a second.

Headphone jack IN THE REMOTE!

Will work with all kinds of channels... Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Netflix, ESPN, etc....

I looked at this image and ran next door to where Wally is sittin' and jawin' with Bill.

I said...."Roku 3......the headphones are in the remote."

Wally looked off in the distance, eyes dancing, and said "oooooo......"

@tsarstepan,
I'll tell ya what I spent a mini marathon watching this weekend (4 in a row) and another episode while I drank my java this morning.....

House of Cards.

Wow that's a great show.

Keven Spacey and Robin Wright are both amazing, and the storyline....oy!

Actually, all the actors are great in it.

Interesting experiment that Comcast will try to pull off:

@chai2,
wow, was just watching hulu last night. have to admit that I like hulu a tiny bit better because it has a lot of cooler shows then Netflix does and it lets you watch at lot more different movies then Netflix. so have to say hulu for this one. also, the fact that they ask you which ad you want to watch before just sticking you with any of them is pretty cool too.

@trishathelizardqueen,
But on Netflix you don't have to watch any ads. I don't think there's a way to do that with Hulu is there?

@rosborne979,
Netflix has a better assortment of movies. They have great selection of TV (older seasons). Never do they have are current seasons of a given active TV show.

What Hulu has the exclusive rights to a lot of current seasons with a rare exception to Amazon Prime (which has one or two current shows like Under the Dome).

@tsarstepan,
I'm not familiar with how Amazon Prime works.

Is there any other service besides NetFlix where you can get unlimited streaming for under $10/month with no Ads embedded in the shows?

@rosborne979,
That's exactly how Amazon Prime works. Except its cheaper then $10 a month.

For $79 a year, you get unlimited streaming from the Amazon Prime library of movies and television series. And you can get free shipping on top of that for most of what Amazon sells online.

@tsarstepan,
How does their selection of material both in quantity and quality compare to Netflix?

@rosborne979,
They share a decent amount of things. But they do have their own exclusives and get other things before Netflix. They updated later seasons of Downton Abbey and Doctor Who much before Netflix for example.

@tsarstepan,
I wonder if it will be included in the next release of AppleTV? Is it included in Roku already?

I may add it to my inventory of sources to watch from.. Price seems right.
