What you believe matters very much to you.

Putting all metaphysics aside it's enough that your life matters to at least one human being. If you can't say that, get busy.

In other words our experience matters. We may not know what it ultimately refers to, what it is, where and how it fits, but as raw subjectively objective experience it is true. We are in the great scheme of things, and that alone, is enough.
