Why? She is doing a fine job and has no reason to resign.

The National Security Advisor MUST testify publicly or her head belongs on a platter. Condoleeza Rice is incompetent, a coward, and a liar. She is NOT doing her job.

Obviously you are wrong as she is not going to.

Your opinion of her is obviously tainted by your hatred of anything republican.

Interesting comment, considering who DL voted for in the last election. Rolling Eyes

While we're at it McG, until the day comes when her head will be placed upon that platter, Condi Rice needs to get herself fitted for an FCC approved brown bag to put over her head everytime she does a TV interview.

Until this past FebruaryMcG, I was a registered Republican in the state of Maryland and had been so since I was eighteen. I recently changed my party affiliation to Democrat. Before you accuse me of hating everything Republican let me tell you a bit about my history. I was raised by two conservative Republican parents. 90% of my family are all registered Republicans. I voted for Gerald Ford in 1976 (my first presidential election). Then, in 1980, I voted for Ronald Reagan. I did so again in 1984. I still think RR is one of this countries greatest presidents. While I have become much more politically saavy since 9/11, I'm sure there are things that RR did that would no doubt make my blood boil. But, I choose to remain ignorant. I don't want to tarnish the pristine image I have of the Reagan presidency. In this case, I believe ignorance is bliss. I voted for G. Bush One in 1988 and again in '92. I held my nose in '96 and voted for Dole. Couldn't stand Bill Clinton. I didn't like his morals. I was a Rush Limbaugh dittohead in those days. I voted for GW Bush in 2000. (As an aside, I voted for a Republican, Bob Ehrlich in November 2002 to become the governor of Maryland. I also vote for Republican Judges and State Senators). But something changed inside of me after 9/11. I did a lot of soul searching. And was woman enough to admit that a lot of the beliefs I held were wrong. I was wrong about the assumptions I made about a lot of people. I had a lot of hatred in my heart, like so many conservatives do. I was bitter. How ironic it is that it took an event like 9/11 to make me come to terms with myself and my beliefs. You see, McG, I had the exact same attitude that drove those hijackers to fly those planes into the twin towers and pentagon. I hope that I can in some very small way honor those who died on 9/11 by becoming a more tolorant and understanding American because of what happened on that fateful day.

Like most normal people McG, I don't like having my trust violated. GW Bush violated the trust I put in him. He let my countrymen and myself down. That is why I will work as hard as I can to see that John Kerry defeats him in November.

Secret Meetings
Let's declassify all those secret meeting transcripts. In the furture there will be no need for these secret meeting because they can be declassified. Who would testify in those secret meetings saying things that they know might be declassified at a later date? It makes those secret meeting null and void.

Good move on Frist's part.

We gonna have a lot of Rethug meltdowns when the sunlight hits 'em.

She's also smarter than the average "Bawl'meron" I had the chance to interact with in three frustrating ("fuschraydin'" in the local dialect) years living there. Very Happy

Chicken fried Rice
Democratic commission member Richard Ben-Veniste disclosed this week that Rice had asked, in her private meetings with the commission, to revise a statement she made publicly that "I don't think anybody could have predicted that those people could have taken an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center . . . that they would try to use an airplane as a missile." Rice told the commission that she misspoke; the commission has received information that prior to Sept. 11, U.S. intelligence agencies and Clarke had talked about terrorists using airplanes as missiles

* She's fried.. Public perception is that she is hiding info. A sterling silver fork is in her handbag.
