So! Last night I picked up an odd injury towards the end of my soccer match. I got off a solid shot with the instep of my left foot, which is the part of my foot that I always use for this specific shot, and I felt a pop. There was no immediate pain and today, I am still not experiencing any pain. There doesn't seem to be any swelling or visible inflammation/bruising. The only symptoms I am experiencing are some slight numbness and tingling and the inability to raise my foot at the ankle. As an example to clarify, with my foot flat on the ground I am unable to raise my foot off the ground while keeping my heel on the floor. Likewise, while standing with my leg raised and bent at the knee...I am unable to raise my foot higher than level. The foot/ankle without these symptoms I can raise 3 inches or so. This inability to raise my foot is actually making walking a little bit difficult, especially up and down stairs. Anyone got any idea what's going on? Thanks!
