Name of a musical?

We saw a musical in London in the late 1990s or early 2000s. Story as I can remember was, a show that was being recorded but the acts couldn't reach the theatre due to bad weather (I think). In stead, because of it being recorded they called up members of the audience, cleaners, stage hands to perform instead. Please, can anyone come up with the name of the musical.
