Davis also reported that this is being treated as an ongoing event which makes sense. Unfortunately our cities seem to be getting good at dealing with these attacks.

I've been flipping around the news channels trying to figure out what's going on. It is absolutely chaotic, and leaves a bitter taste. God only knows if this was a domestic or foreign act of terror. For all the Boston members, I hope you all get home safely and quickly.

@Butrflynet,
Boston Globe reports more than 100 people have been treated as related to the explosions.

Once again, accuracy will be verified and validated as time goes by.

I've only seen this reported by the LA Times, so I'm not convinced yet that it is accurate.

http://www.latintimes.com/articles/2796/20130415/boston-marathon-explosions-more-incendiary-devices-discovered.htm

According to CBS Boston, am surveillance image captured a male carrying a backpack with possible devices and dropping it in a garbage can minutes before the explosions. Another undetonated bomb was discovered under the Grand Stand which was filled with hundreds of civilians.

A suspect is in custody, a Saudi national is currently being held in the Boston hospital after suffering shrapnel wound according to the Post.

Fourth confirmed explosion at Tufts Medical Center, suspect apprehended by SWAT according to Boston 7 News. Tufts is currently on complete lockdown mode.

That's somewhat similar to what I saw on the NY post, but they were also saying 12 dead and no one else was.

@Butrflynet,
The saudi national is said to be the suspect in custody? (not quite clear on that).

@Butrflynet,
I'm going to say that I don't think anything the LATimes is reporting about suspects or fourth bombs is accurate.

The number of injured keeps rising. 22, then 30 something, now over 50. I heard 2 dead, but the some of the injuries were horrific.

Glad the a2kers in the area are OK. Thought of Thomas and Jonathan. Glad they're not there.

@ossobuco,
I don't think I've seen anything online or on cable validating a 4th explosion at Tufts.

@Butrflynet,
They've gone downhill in a handbasket recently, but dunno if they're that bad yet, will be interested for newspaper reasons besides the human ones.
