What to do?

The other day, I was arguing heavily with my wife and told her she needed to decide between me and her boyfriend by the end of the week. In the course of this, I used some language that I wouldn't ordinarily use. Problem is, my son heard the argument and repeated my statements to his mom.
Is this fixable? Have I completely screwed up?

How old is your son? If he is of reason, then explain that you and mom were having a private discussion, that you were full of anger and that those things said were between the two of you, and please don't repeat them.

IMHO, you have deeper issues. Her behavior has been going on for nearly a year, hasn't it? Time for you to step up and do what you have to do to show your child that you will not tolerate behavior that is disrespectful to marriage vows.

Mom will have the explaining to do to the child. That's who "screwed up.'

@PUNKEY,
Thanks, Punkey. My son will be 12 in a few months and my daughter is 7. I don't think she heard my comments.

Don't be so sure.
