Does she wanna get to know me more or is she just being nice?

Known this girl since high school for 4yrs but been talking since june. We talk through facebook cuz she goes to college 80miles from me. She showed interest n i've shownlots of signs. Shes a shy girl, and is muslim n im muslim too. We hungout 5 months ago n at the end of the hangout She asked if im ever gonna visit her campus so that we could meet up. i took things really fast after the hangout n got really clingy. After the hangout i txtd her telling her she looked nice n pretty. N i started txting her a lot cuz i thought we were close now. She got cold with me. I had high expectations for 1 hangout and she sensed it. I asked to hangout in winter but asked desperately n she said no cuz shes more interested in college stuff. i wanna just get to know her more. I told her i got a gift for her for xmas n i then stopped talking w/her 4 a month. in the time off I learned my mistakes n what I did wrong I started talking again n at 1st she was uninterested but now its normal. Im going to cut down on the txting/fb and focus on seeing her more in person. I showed huge signs that I like her and we talk normally now and are going to meet up when i visit her campus. does that mean she just wanted to take it slower?
