I need to make an adjective clause with:

the chair is broken. He is sitting in it.

are both of these answers ok? Whats the difference?

1.) He is sitting in a chair which is broken

2.) The chair which he is sitting in is broken.

@tyboogie,
Ty I'm not even sure what ad adj clause is and not sure what you mean by "ok" but your versions are just a bit awkward. For what it's worth, here's how as an erstwhile writer I might have expressed it: He's sitting in a broken chair

The only difference is one of focus, Ty.
