Which is correct here, a or an? An english teacher corrected it to "a" but I have no idea why.

Objective: To work as a Industrial and Technical Engineer, in the interdisciplinary field of biosensors and bioelectronics.

@Zurich,
I bet your teacher is not a native speaker of English. Use 'an' except when being graded by that particular teacher.
