LOVE. HELP.

There's this girl i really like. She is in high school (9th grade) and I'm in middle school (7th grade). But she skipped a grade. She's a year older than me (exactly a year). She does that around-the-neck hug whenever we meet or say goodbye, and we tightly hold the hug for a few seconds. She agrees with most things i say. We both text almost everyday. I just can't tell if she likes me or is really affectionate to her friends. I never see her act as such with anyone else though, even friends of the same gender. Does she like me? Or is it friend-zone at its finest?
