@nydia2013,
At the very bottom of the screen, under the able2know heading is the "Contact Us" option. You can make the request, but a2k has very few groups and probably won't set up a new one for you.

@nydia2013,
When you "tag" a topic using the green tag button at the top of a post or when you apply tags when creating a new post, those tags become forums you can search on. If you add a tag called politics, then click on it, you get all the posts that have been tagged that way.

@roger,
Can a group be established for those who agree to terms of civil discourse?

@MattDavis,
Theoretically. Look at the very top of the page, and find "Groups". Click upon it to get an idea of how many groups exist, compared to the number of members who would like their own little exclusive group.

@Frank Apisa,
I try to be civil, Frank, but I once recall suggesting to some one that he was "a nasty little bitch." I botched my reputation for all eternity.

@roger,
Thanks Roger Smile
I found the old PhilForum.
Did the merger with A2K kill that or what?

@roger,
Seems like everyone on A2K has lost it at some time or another--some more frequently than others--and some more frequently than those.

I really would like to see more discussion and less of the name calling, but even that becomes a battle.

I fail to see how "you are a moron" or "**** you" helps any discussion.

@Region Philbis,
Bet you're right. Like the person who asked how to delete a comment, when he had made no comment.

Hear hear! I could not agree more. Unfortunately, we live in a world where we're everyday in contact with all types of people, some who are dysfunctional with mental problems. Some suffering from such inner rage that they take it out on people with whom they disagree. But there are enough reasonable posters among us to make posting worthwhile.
