Hi English Teacher,
Is my sentence acceptable? Thanks a lot in advance.
I have redistributed the pocket money with my brother because he has recently gained a lot of weight.

No, it makes no sense. You've redistributed your pocket money with your brother because he has gained a lot of weight? What does his weight have to do with money?

Well, I would just say that. Why say 'redistribute'? That word really doesn't apply here.

I have given my brother a bigger share of our [????] because he has recently gained a lot of weight.

What is 'pocket money', Jane? I know how we use it in English but it doesn't seem to fit here. Do you mean 'allowance'? Can you describe where the money comes from and what its purpose is?
