Do you feel the writing below is clear?

*************************************************************
Talking about database used in web pages, perhaps you might suspect if the database used in the pages is different from the database used in the past and if the latter is compatible with the former. In fact, it is not a question that needs you to think too much. You can use the old database as you wish. by submitting different parameters in a web page to the server, where the parameters would be performed by script. That is, the server can manipulate the database according to its characteristic, and finally return the result to the web page to inform user. So long as there is a browser in the user's computer, the user can get what he wants without the help of any other apps.

It looks decently clear to me. But, it could use some tidying up. If you know what I mean.

"In fact, it is not a question that needs you to think too much".

Why not start with this sentence.

How would you shorten and polish it up?

Basically, you're telling the reader, "This is a simple question". So if it is, why not just plain say so?

Read...write...re-write...re-write!!!
