@maxdog,
Of course. If we were not allowed the negative consequences of our environment and actions, we could not really have dominion over it nor have free will.

It'd be like giving a car to your kid but never letting him drive it because he might hurt himself. You don’t learn anything that way.

But I get your point. You don’t blame your dad for giving you the car when you crash it while screwing up.

@Leadfoot,
My point is that god maybe it s not in control of everything. For example , he is powerfull only if we decide to have faith and let ourselves in his hands and only his power is limited till certain things he can do . maybe he does not have the power to stop a tragedy to happen . Just maybe

@maxdog,
Right, right. If your car gets a flat tire, it’s not your dad's fault who gave you the car.

You know, metaphors?

@Leadfoot,
More of an analogy than a metaphor.

I was under the impression that, according to Christian mythology, the World belongs to Satan, that when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and offered all these positions of power he never said that they weren't Satan's to give.

@izzythepush,
As you wish.

But as in your example, Jesus said it was not Satan's to give.
I'd go with what he said over religious dogma any day.

@Leadfoot,
An analogy is used to explain, a metaphor to describe.

If you accept the example I gave doesn't that mean you agree with Maxdog?

@izzythepush,
Wait a minute. Shouldn’t you have addressed that question to maxdog?
I’ve been trying to explain to him that I agreed all along.

'Not God's fault' does not equal 'it IS Satan's fault', either.

@maxdog,
You are a good man maxdog. The book does say to “Let your conversation be 'yes' or 'no'. “.
There is nothing wrong with plain speech.
