@ossobuco,
Is all the flooding happening in the kitchen?

@ehBeth,
No, also the hallway and computer room - though now the flooding is infrequent compared to earlier in these weeks. She's still taking in a lot of water, which occasionally she can't hold. Well, I am hoping she's on the new meds at least by morning, and then will progress.

@ossobuco,
Sunshine? >>>big sigh<<< Snowing here!

Peanut butter cookies sound delicious - lucky Katy! My Megan would gladly trade in her carrot and apple treats for just one of them!

Don't get too downhearted about everything. The medication will come, Katy will stop peeing, and she will get better. She's obviously a survivor and with you for a mum, how can she fail to get well? She's still fighting infection - bound to pee occasionally, but doing well to limit it to once last night.

Hugs to Katy (cold ones this evening) from the UK!

@vonny,
Those peanut butter treats don't have any sugar or salt - or I'd eat some. (Might try one anyway)

@ossobuco,
Vonny, I have to apologize. I managed to send Megan a birthday cake on another thread, since I thought that must be a daughter of yours, having forgotten your dog's name..
Duh.

@roger,
Baaaaaaaaaaaad! Well, maybe one little bite.

The pills are there, I'll get them in the morning, and they're going to give me a copy of the chart re what the bacteria are/were, one on the rare side - which explains part of this long rigamarole.

@ossobuco,
Don't apologise, please - it was a lovely thought. Thank you! Very Happy

I've never had a maternal bone in my body, so dogs have always been 'family' - although I would never call them child substitutes. So Megan is my 'daughter' and yes, she does like cake - especially a virtual cake! She does get 'naughty' treats occasionally (usually when my husband gets suckered in by her big brown eyes Rolling Eyes ) , but she's a trifle lazy and, as she's ten now, needs to be kept on a diet - hence the carrots and apple!

As for the peanut butter treats - mmmm - sound yummy!

Okay, I've 125 capsules in a container in my hot little hands.
Time to make 126 potato gnocchi to mask them as treats.
(Gave her one already in a ricotta gnocchi, but I'm about out of those.)

@vonny,
I think we're all primed for instant results, vonny. In our minds, we know it will take more time, but. . . .

@roger,
Yeah, I know - but hope springs eternal ......... It would certainly be so wonderful to get really good results - even if it takes time. Worth the wait!

@ossobuco,
Strewth - 123 more potato gnocchi(s) for Katy! Laughing

How many a day is that, and at what intervals? Sounds like an awful lot of tablets Rolling Eyes

@vonny,
I'm upset for you that they got you the medication for Katy but then made a boo boo over the dosage and it starts, all, over, again, the wait... At least she has had some so far...

Been reading.... Get better Katy

@FOUND SOUL,
The veterinarian was upset too, thus the fast type shipping of the right dosage.

@ossobuco,
How's it going? Early days, I know, but any reaction to the new meds?
