Form of Address - German Judge

Hello:

Another question for my third novel. What is the form of address for a judge in Germany? Here in the US we say, "Your Honor" or sometimes address them as "the Court".
Specifically, if it makes a difference, the judge in this scene is of an Oberlandesgerichte.
Now that I think of it, what would be the proper court in which an extradition hearing would be held?
Thanks.

hi !

either "Herr Richter" (Richter = judge) (male)
"Frau Richterin" (the same just female)
or "Euer Ehren" (adequate to "your Honor")

Thanks.
Gonzita, that's what I was going with (Herr Richter) but I didn't know that the term "Your Honor" was also used.
Also, I looked at your other posts and saw that you want to practice or perfect your English and I feel the same about my German. I was there for three years and have been back several times but I, too, would like to improve. Perhaps we can correspond directly in that regard. If you want to, post to me at [email protected] or [email protected].
Thanks. Hope to hear from you.

And thanks for the welcome, bigdice67. Where in Germany are you?
And what and where is this meeting in Florida (that's where I live) you're attending?.
