If a president loses the second term election but wins the following election can that president still run for a second term?

There's only two terms to a customer. See the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, explained pretty well here -

@Jachro,
If this hypothetical candidate/president wins the election after losing the prior reelection campaign then the next election WON'T be considered a second term because he already has his first and second terms. They just don't happen to be two consecutive terms. He will not be allowed to run for another term after his second win.
