@Lustig Andrei,
Ah but, Andrei, The viewing panel. I was saying something about the TV screen.

The version you offer would be useful I suppose for a walk around a shopping area at a busy time. And although I know next to nothing about Bedlam I don't think the inmates were, or was*, encouraged to behave oddly.

* There's a pretty good thread just started about "were" and "was".

Ok Wassau..........I'm awake now. Ovaltine please. I don't actually know how Ovaltine tastes. I've never had any, but I'll try it. It's about time I joined my generation.

Sitting down with dlowan on the sofa. How are you Deb?

It's 10:30 PM here on the East coast. Just saw Lola's posting of the original version of this thread from 3 + years ago.

However it's still the same coffee house. I'll have a John Jameson, neat please.

Life's good. I hope all here are well and content.

@ehBeth,
Where the hell is Setanta? He might heat things up. I think I'd like to meet him, if for no other reason than to see if, in person, he is as testy as he often gets here. I suspect the truth is he isn't.

@georgeob1,
Set's with his girlfriend, the old blind, stinky girldog. He's got his priorities right - the dogs come first Very Happy

@ehBeth,
I figured you'd defend him. Does he deserve it?

@georgeob1,
Set's always well behaved around here. But then he always has his dogs with him. Beth, welcome. Nice of you and georgeob to keep me company.

Time for coffee, please. Strong, black, ordinary store brand coffee, will do me fine.

How long is this "I'll have a coffee" going to go on for? Or variations on the same theme designed to showcase the eclectic nature of the customers.

It's as bad as clocking on. A bunch of old fogies circling around a thirty-something divorcee. It reminds me of those photos of an A2K meet up in the high-rise flat in NYC with Lola doing the Queen Bee in the midst of a writhing heap of washed up drones.

@spendius,
Because he's just woken up and is slowly reconciling himself to getting dressed and going to work. Worse, he hasn't had either coffee or orange juice yet.

Morning everyone.

Nothing for me right now. I needed a walk, and I just stopped by to....

...uhhh...

...humph...I see everybody's got their newspaper tucked away.

Wonder why that is?

I picked up a bag of cinnamon French Toast bagels on the way in.

Can Wassau get these toasted up and find us some good cheese to have with them?

It's roll-up-the-rim time at Timmy's so I had to get my tea there.

I'll be back here for my bagel in a bit.

@ehBeth,
I have to get all my tax info together for the accountant. Anybody else dying from boredom?

Do those of you in countries other than the US have to file tax returns?
