I enjoyed coming here - what happened to the proprietress? And Wassau? The regular patrons seem to have deserted the place - and tourists just aren't filling the place!

I think the locals are busy doing Christmas shopping, and getting ready for entertaining, and out-of town relatives, and all that hectic stuff. And the tourists are out and about looking at all the holiday attractions, like the tree in Rockefeller Center, the decorations in all the store windows, etc. and they are shopping too. New York is really bustling this time of year.

I like it in here when it's quiet. It's a nice calm oasis.

Wassau's been making some Christmas treats for us...to enjoy right now.









I just had some of these cream cheese cookies...I highly recommend them.
