We buy an Amish sweet butter or "Kellers" . They both are buttery goodness laden.
Im not aware about the Irish butter. Lots of imported stuff is just more expensive cause it hadda come over on a refrigerated boat and it doesn't really have anything special about it.
Is it one of those things that, if you put it our in a blind tatse test with say 4 other butters, youd be able to taste a marked difference?
Much of that is just clever marketing. I cannot stand Irish bacon, its salty and has a really funky flavor. Theres a butcher that sells it in Lancaster and the yuppy types rush in and quote how fine it is. I think theyr all nuts
