Lightning and rain up there all of a sudden. Me and the dog are cowering in here by the computer.

The hail stones brought us down. But it seems quiet now. I had to restart the computer.

The ratio of views to posts has gone up appreciably since we left off in early December.

I should explain the ladies question. Sometimes women (has Spendius heard of us?) control a project, as architects or contractors for the site or in similar situations. Sometimes we go on site and see various views about our being there.

Sometimes we get the polite 'good morning, ladies, in some circumstances that are meant well, and in some as diminishing. Or some mix.
This when we can say who gets paid.


One contractor guy who used to say that, all friendly like, denuded my blooming hydrangea bushes on a side of my house to give as a giant bouquet to his girlfriend he had been fighting with.

At least he knew how to clip.

How can I not have done?

I was driving in the hail. It's a lucky thing my truck already needs a paint job. New showers are moving in and some areas are flooding. Hopefully it will end by morning. I have to be on the job at eight.

Firefly, I wish we could really get together for a ladies who lunch. I would love that.

Beth, I'd never seen French and Saunders before, they must be on Canadian tv, but I loved watching. They are hilarious.
