It's true, virtual food has no calories.

Unfortunately...talk about virtual food often leads to calories being ingested in the non-cyber world.

@Lustig Andrei,
Wassau (are you from Wisconsin?) - I know what I want for breakfast tomorrow morning, and chances are some might want to share:

It can be problematic getting emails from food sites each week.

Thanks Farmerman. I wasn't aware there was a term for that.
Godwyn's Law.
I also found this with a search Reductio ad Hitlerum.
I appreciate your concern for people's health, I think we share that concern.
It is certainly disingenuous for someone to label your or my concern for public health with Nazism or fascism.
Thank you for your advocacy regarding more organic farming methods.

@MattDavis,
I tried the hazelnut milk I bought yesterday - very nice, but 58 calories in 200ml is too high! It actually tastes like chocolate flavoured milk - and it's brown? Is that the same as the one you buy?

@MattDavis,
when you hang around here more Matt, youll know that guys like Set are more aligned with Kokopelli than they are some internet PC policemen.
Roger and Edgar Blythe are similarly disposed.

@farmerman,
Hey, I'd forgotten about Kokopelli - doesn't he chase away winter and bring spring? Badly needed here in snowy old England at the present time!

@izzythepush,
Kokopelli is the one who convinces your head that you wont get caught at Dulles with a nice full bag of "Product" from your business trip to AMsterdam.

@vonny,
Well Vonny I don't usually buy much nut milk. My girlfriend uses much more of it. She is an athletic trainer. And became vegan about 2 years ago. She enjoys dairy substitutes much more than I do. I get most of my calcium from greens, tempeh, and when I bake I use black strap molasses often as a sweetener (high in iron and calcium). We also eat a lot of chickpeas and tahini (sesame paste) due to our good friend Nidal and his restaurant (Lebanese).
I have had this brand before:

I don't actually count calories very often.
To me hazelnut milk tastes like hazelnuts. Sort of a chocolatey flavor, warm and rich (I don't have an extensive taste vocabulary).
If weight loss is a concern, my suggestion as a nurse and her suggestion as an athletic trainer, would be to focus less on the calories and more on the content of your foods.
Refined sugars and starches in particular. In the sense of decreasing them. Better starches would be whole grains and potatoes.
And of course exercise.
