Shoe fetishist. Hmmmmmpfff. I am a comfy shoe person myself, but I photograph them from time to time, usually when travelling, in vetrini... as a kind of local sculpture.

I have many things to say on that topic, osso, but won't out of deference to the Wife of the Assistant District Officer of Eastern District. Very Happy

Omigod, Clary is a Dragon Eye Dotter! (All hail!)

I took a look at those food photos, but I'm on a diet and felt I was gaining weight. Very Happy

I think with all the red-shoe commentary, somebody ought to start a thread in deference to Clary not wanting anything to do with it.

I will. (And Clary, we'd love to have a Dragon I Daughter along for the kibbitzing.)

Edit: OKAY -- Here's the RED SHOE TOPIC!

(my, that looks strange to see the word "red" printed in blue.) Please come.

<heehee> Smell-o-vision!

Iwould like to know about Simon, too, but was hesitant to ask. My best wishes for his health.

Clary, did you see that somebody on a2k is waiting with her husband for a transplant? Sophia was asking about travel tips while they wait for the call to fly to the hospital here on Margo's travel tips... last page.

Devriesj -- Don't even start! I just ate and I'm still hungry. Grrrrrrr (that's my stomach growling) Very Happy

I think I'm going to take a walk and sigh a lot. Maybe I'll forget I'm hungry. At least on this diet (the low-carb kind) there was an immediate and gratifying 8 pound loss in three days. Water weight... I don't care... it registered on the scales.

Good for you, Piffka - that's awesome! I could stand to walk off a few myself! Go a couple blocks (miles?) for me too?!

Heehee. Well we went to the beach and a squall came through, effectively stopping the walk after just a half hour. I zig-zagged up and down from the top of the beach to the water (it's a low tide) so I'd say I did about 1.5 miles. Usually I walk for an hour and go three miles, but the rain and the wind were beating down. Drove the ten minutes home and it is sunny here. Go figure.

Washington, right?
... I'm about half-hour's ride to a great lake (Michigan). You must be near the ocean. There is a great trail around a lake near town that I like to take. Otherwise, I just walk the neighborhood.

Y'know what they say about Michigan?
If you don't like the weather, stick around a while - It'll change.

Washington, yes, but on Puget Sound, about 100 miles from the ocean. Here's where I was walking and it looked like this too, except the beach was many times wider because it was low tide... and see those clouds? Imagine them bigger, almost black, coming from the other direction, much closer and with a stiff wind beating down on me. Very Happy Luckily, I LOVE weather.

SUNRISE BEACH - 10015 Sunrise Beach Dr NW, Gig Harbor.
Undeveloped 82 acre scenic site in the Peninsula area with over 2,400 feet of waterfront on Colvos Passage with walking trails and a popular diving destination. Stroll a forest path under moss-covered big leaf maples and 80 year old Douglas firs, or climb a steep trail to small clearings that single out Mount Rainier and water views. This neighborhood beach park just outside Gig Harbor has a viewpoint trail and beach that continue down Sunrise Beach to the parking field.

It's gorgeous! One of the places I've never been is north-east (Oregon, Washington). Is it warm too? It's stating to warm up here. Temps are up & down.
