Have you found any evidence of democrats willing to disenfranchise members of the US military?

As I said in the posting concerning the 1944 election and our fighting men the GOP have the supported of some of the southern democrats who fear anything that would allowed black soldiers and sailors to vote and wish to keep Jim Crow laws in place.

You know the same kind of racists that went over to the GOP when President Kennedy and President Johnson supported the civil right movement of the 60s.

Stop Handgun Violence is a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of gun violence through education,
public awareness, effective law enforcement and common sense gun laws. With 83 gun deaths in the U.S. everyday
—more than Columbine and Virginia Tech combined—it's time we start putting lives before politics. We are not calling
for restrictions to our Constitutional Rights, but just common sense legislation that will help save lives.

@Region Philbis,

Chicago has some of the strictest laws against handgun possession, but that does
not stop criminals from gunning down innocent Americans and fellow criminals.

The sign pictured and associated web sites will do absolutely nothing to curb
the culture of violence entrenched in Chicago and other blue cities - nothing.

@H2O MAN,
Chicago isn't even in the top 10 when it comes to homicides per 100,000 residents.

In 2012 New Orleans had a murder rate of 55.7 per 100,000
Chicago's was only 19.7 per 100,000.

@parados,
Thaty is because either we go along with the absolute stupidity of your idiot rules about gun bans and pretend that we are safe in gun free zones when there are megatons of proofs that your gun bans getpeople killed or we do what we have to do. And if your little buddy boys in the government ever did decide to send their little enforcers door to door to take guns by force, we would also shoot back. Its happened before. It's your stupid gun bans that fail to protect who make criminals out of people who have enough common sense to know better. Go tell the kids in the graveyard who died at columbine what hypocrites we are. I'm sure they'd lvoe your point of view. If protecting my arse from some thug means being a hypocrite, so be it.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that the people in Aurora, Luby's , Columbine and all the other places who were obeying the signs were all law abiding citizens committing no crime. Nice moral, ethical dead people.

Protecting your arse is not the name of the game. Protecting most arses is what this is about.

Arming the kids is on the end of your foolishness. They have arses too. And so do tourists.

Let's look at the factual errors in that statement.
1. I don't advocate banning all guns.
2. There is no evidence that more people are killed in "gun free" zones than in other areas.

Now that we have exposed your strawman, do you have a valid argument against my statements or are you just going to go get more straw?

Meanwhile back in reality.....
Quote:

In 2008, 47% of firearm homicides occurred in a house, apartment or surrounding
property, 25% occurred on a public street, 10% occurred in a vehicle, 8% occurred in a
commercial area, and 4% occurred in a school, sports or athletics area. Fewer than 2% occurred
in a public building or recreation area.45

www.uphs.upenn.edu/ficap/resourcebook/pdf/monograph.pdf

So, 82% of gun homicides occur where in areas that are not designated "gun free." I guess those dead people weren't nice moral or ethical.

More stupidity from democrat law makers...

Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, would require a three-day waiting
period for the sale of any firearm and the sale of ammunition to anyone
who has not completed anger management courses. The proposal would
require ammo buyers to take the anger management courses every 10 years.

@parados,
So school shootings and churches where unarmed law abiding citizens were gunned down by armed psychos is not reality? My bad. Wow. I managed to fake those entire stories just to help my own crusade to arm everybody including criminals. You found me out. I guess you're right, if we all get rid of guns the world will be a safer place. Hey, bans on drugs, booze and a miriad of other things stopped those crimes. Bullshit. But keep burying your head in the sand if it makes you happy, its much warmer there. It makes me sick that people have to keep dying over the deranged laws that arm criminals and call empty handed victims "law abiding citizens". Stupidity never stops no matter how many die. I wish we could take all of you gun ban supporters and put you in your own geographic location. Then when you were being targeted by human monsters you would have no one to blame and could still feel morally superior.
