Third frankly you can removed all the suicides from your numbers as ones there is little reason to think that if a gun was not available someone would not just step in front of a bus or some such.

But we still lead the industrialized world in murder rate...by a huge amount!

We have more and more guns in the hands of private citizens (by far more than any other country)...and we have more shootings and killings.
