Kiss on the cheek! Friendly or more?

Ok so there is this guy i like for a while now and he is quite a bit older (7years). Well anyway i know him for about a year now. I only talk to him every now and then and he seems to be very quite and shy. When I go out with my friends i always see him as he works in this pub that we go to a lot. He always says hello and just general chit chat not much because he would be working. Anyhow the other night he was not working but still in the pub. I went up talking to him for about five minutes he was quite funny by the way. When i decided to leave and find my friends again I went in just to give him a hug and say happy new year he just gave me a kiss on the cheek!! It was so unexpected and left me thinking! Does he like me or is it him being friendly. Also the next night i was in that pub he was acting all weird and I caught him looking in my and my friends direction a lot. What do people think? was it a friendly kiss on the cheek or more than that! Please help!!
