@JPB,
For the record, I could have played safety better than Rahim Moore on that last TD in regulation. Incredible.

Lots of head scratching over D not trying to do something before time expired in regulation.

@Region Philbis,
Gawd, I love football! Not the prettiest execution of plays but it is exciting.
This is the most fun I've had with my clothes on in...ages!

Then, in a few more minutes, GB and SF square off.

Whoa, baby!

I believe I'm the only one who picked Baltimore. Many have Denver picked to go all the way.

<curtsey> Thank you very much.

This makes up for the two I missed last weekend.

@realjohnboy,
I have no great burning desire to keep track of the running scores in our game here. I suspect that several people have the necessary data, remembering that a correct pick in each wild card game was worth one point and a correct guess in this weekend's games is worth two points.

@realjohnboy,
I'll start a spreadsheet if no one else has already done it.

A penalty for taunting?

Nevermind, it doesn't matter, TD.

I just finished entering the picks into a spreadsheet. I didn't see picks from djjd or RJB's friend Jeremy although both participated in the WC games. That brings us back to 23 players.

For the second game we split 14 (SF) - 9 (GB)

I'm thinking I can breathe now..

I am following the 49ers blog, and lots of posters on there, many of them football bloggers, plenty for Green Bay, were making a lot of comments about green bay's difficulties.

(Oops, I lied, reading espn's live chat..)

@JPB,
Hey JPB...Your math is for everyone with 2 points for a correct second round pick, correct? Or were we just going with one point per correct pick? I do not remember what RJB said he was going to do with the scoring...For the next rounds...I remember the question....But I do not remember reading the accepted choice...

I will look for it....But if someone can find it...Please link it to me...

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Yes, I gave everyone 1pt for each WC win and 2pts for each win yesterday. I don't recall what the #s were going forward but there's plenty of time for that. 4 and 8? 4 and 10? I'm pretty sure next week is 4pts per correct selection.

Frequently Asked Questions About Playing...
--How Do I Post My Picks? Just like Region Philbus did.
--Is There Other Information Needed? You might say where you are from. We use the data for statistical purposes only. Region is from Boston.
--Will I Be Treated With Respect Here? Yes, of course.
--When Is The Deadline Again? What's the matter? Can't you read? I said the deadline for the four (that's 4) Wild Card games is 4 pm Sat Jan 5.
--What Do I Win? You get one point for every Wild Card game correctly picked plus an extra four points if you get all four games right.
--I Thought You Said Big Prizes? That comes later.

I missed this. I'll give the 4 with perfect WC choices an extra 4pts each.

@JPB,
Thanks mate...Makes sense...Because I was looking at it...And it got me thinking...Because no one had 6 correct yet...And only you (maybe one or two others) got both correct yesterday...But I had seen you up top...

Thanks for doing the math...

It has been my experience that no one really cares. But since you ask, a correct pick in the WC games is worth 1 pt. I was figuring 2 pts in the next round; 4 in the next and 6 pts in the Superbowl.
I've asked for suggestions in the past. Silence.

Found it. 4 then 6 for the next two weeks
